Emperador Dark

Emperador Dark carries a fine network of pale tan and white veins across a ground that shifts between rich cocoa and near-black. The veins are thin and bright and take the light in lines, so the darkness never quite closes over. It is the darkest of the Emperador family and one of the most recognisable brown marbles anywhere. Used once and deliberately, it sets the weight of a room and settles everything else: a bar front, a fireplace surround, a vanity top, a reception desk, a run of stair cladding. Beside brass, bronze and walnut all four look as though they came out of the same century. Its paler counterpart in the collection is listed as Emparador Light.
