Tundra Grey
Tundra Grey is one of the most widely specified grey marbles to come out of Türkiye. It is quarried in the mountains around Afyon and sold in some markets as Savana Grey. The ground is a soft, cloudy mid-grey, mottled more than veined, crossed by fine silver and off-white hairlines, opening here and there into paler patches where the crystal breaks through. There is no dominant line anywhere, and the drawing behaves like weather. That is why it covers ground so well. A grey without direction runs across a whole floor, climbs a wall and turns a corner without anyone noticing a seam. Its tone sits between warm and cool. It holds its colour under daylight and lamplight alike, the grey that stays grey.
