Dark Beige

Dark Beige is the colour a cream marble arrives at once the light has left the room and only the warmth remains. The ground runs an even tan-brown from edge to edge, crossed thinly by fine white hairlines, with the occasional pale clast surfacing through it. There is no figure here to plan around. What the depth of the colour does is bring a large room down to a comfortable size. An entrance hall, a restaurant or a long hotel corridor gains a floor that feels furnished before anything has been placed on it. It holds the ground between a cream floor and a dark brown one, warm enough to sit beside timber and deep enough to carry a dark ceiling above it.
